Welcome to Lamb's Cottage


MSR Select Vacation Rentals specializes in creating a market place for Vacation Rentals that meet a criteria for curb appeal, maintenance, cleanliness and value.  Our stringent process dictates monthly visits to our listing properties to verify that each one continues to maintain the level of compliance necessary to remain in our publication.

Description:

Our Lamb's Cottage property is a quaint 1,205 Sq. Ft. 3BR/1.5BA home on a private lot featuring a beautiful large yard with mature landscaping and and an expansive patio area that is complimented with a 6 person Jacuzzi, a cement basketball half-court area and 4 bicycles provided. We are located on Van Buren Street in the established affluent neighborhood of Hollywood Lakes in East Hollywood, Florida. All windows have window blinds and/or curtains for full privacy. 

The kitchen is equipped with service for 8 as well as all the pots, pans, cookware  necessary to create your own gourmet meal. We feature an electric stove, a wall mounted single oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a side by side refrigerator with filtered water and ice dispenser.

Going a step further, we provide a coffee maker, blender, tea kettle and all necessary utensils to stock your kitchen.  The open and airy dining room area which is adjacent to the kitchen features a beautiful wood table with seating for six to eight.

The entry foyer welcomes you to the living room with wood floors, comfortable leather couch and side chair, lighted ceiling fan, plenty of windows and an electric fireplace. The charm of the home is apparent as floor and ceiling moldings are throughout the home.

The large master bedroom features a king size bed with two night stands, a chest, a dresser w/mirror and plenty of window lighting. The room features sliding mirrored doors, a lighted ceiling fan, a private half bath and a Flat Screen TV w/DVD & 200+ Channels. There is also an alarm clock and an IPOD player.

The master bedroom features a half bathroom that is newly renovated. It is well appointed with real darkwood cabinets and a marble countertop. There is a large mirror and up to date fixtures.  

  The 2nd bedroom suite features three twin size beds (a bunk bed and a trundle underneath that opens up to regular height twin size bed), a dresser, a lighted ceiling fan and a Flat Screen Wall Mounted TV & DVD player. With the trundle bed setup, there is plenty of space to comfortably sleep 3 adults. In addition, there is also plenty of window light in this room and a Sony PS2!

The 2nd bathroom quite sizeable and is also newly renovated. It is well appointed with real darkwood cabinets and a marble countertop. There is a large mirror and up to date fixtures. The bathroom also features a sliding glass tub door, tiled bathtub surround. The bathroom features a combination bathtub and shower.  

The 3rd bedroom features a Queen Sofabed and has a TV/DVD/Stereo System. There are large windows to allow natural light and a lighted ceiling fan to keep you cool. There is direct access to the patio via a sliding glass door. PC Workstation is available in this room.

High Speed Internet access is provided by the dedicated workstation and wireless access is also made available. Full size Washer/Dryer provided. Exterior Pet Cage provided with pet door access to 3rd bedroom; designed to house pet up to 55lbs!

The rear yard contains a large patio area, a seating area and a beautiful view of the large back yard area. There is aslo a 6 Persson Jacuzzi w/37 jets to help you unwind after a day at the beach.

Outside you will find plenty of space to play basketball or any outdoor sport. A barbecue grill is also provided in your private gated setting.

Hollywood Southlake is just a few blocks away and offers benches to sit and enjoy the scenery. If your bringing your boat or jet ski, Hollywood Marina is just a few minutes away as well. The lake, marina, golf course and kiddy park are minutes away. Four bicycles are provided!!!

Just down the street is Jefferson park featuring four lighted tennis courts, paddleball courts, two basketball courts, 2 bocce courts, a small recreation center, playground equipment, and a baseball/softball field.

Hollywood’s oceanfront Broadwalk offers miles of car free enjoyment. Walkers, runners, bicyclists and rollerbladers set their own pace on this path, which is bordered by six miles of Hollywood’s famous coastline, boutique hotels, charming shops, cafés and places to eat facing the ocean. We are located just minutes away!

We are just blocks south of Hollywood Boulevard/Downtown Hollywood and this prime location offers the best of Hollywood within minutes:
  • Hollywood Beach Broadwalk - Over two miles of car-free enjoyment. Bicyclists, runners, walkers and rollerbladers set their own pace on this path which is bordered by six miles of Hollywood's famous coastline, boutique hotels, charming shops, cafés and places to eat facing the ocean. Hollywood Beach is a Wi-Fi Hotspot.

  • Historic Downtown- Characterized by quaint sidewalk cafés, bricklined walks and six blocks of unique boutiques, shops, art galleries and dozens of excellent restaurants along Hollywood Boulevard and Harrison Street, the pedestrian-friendly environment is the perfect place to enjoy South Florida.

  • ArtsPark at Young Circle - is a revolutionary park that features 10 acres of lush green space, broad paved promenades for strolling or jogging, a children's play area with an interactive fountain, and a spectacular feature fountain.

Hallandale Beach, home of the famous Beach Ball Water Tower, features a mile of unspoiled coastline. At this public beach, you can rent chickee huts, and relax and watch the ocean. There are concession stands, a playground, bocce ball courts, restrooms and showers. We are located just a short 5-10 minute drive away!


Visit South Beach and enjoy one of the hottest and trendiest locations in South Florida! South beach is a mix of sun worshippers, the eccentric, art lovers, designers, tourists, and celebrities alike. You will never run out of something to do and there is entertainment at every corner. We are located just a short 25 minute drive away!

Hollywood - Fort Lauderdale International Airport is only 10 minutes away and Miami International Airport is just 30 minutes away.

Only five minute walk to downtown Hollywood, 15 minutes to downtown Fort Lauderdale & Las Olas area and only 25 minutes to trendy South Beach!

More importantly, we are centrally located between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale offering access to all that south Florida has to offer. We are just a 1/2 mile walk west of Hollywood Beach, with its famous boardwalk, restaurants and shopping!

For Non-Peak booking cancellations made more than 60 days before your arrival date, you will receive your reservation/security deposit (minus $50 processing fee) and any rental payment returned; 60 days or less, entails forfeiture of all rental payments and reservation/security deposit if another renter, with similar terms can not be found. The determination of 'similar replacement' will be the owners' alone.
For Peak Date (Holidays & Events) or Monthly booking cancellations made more than 120 days before your arrival date, you will receive your reservation/security deposit (minus $50 processing fee) and any rental payment returned; 120 days or less, entails forfeiture of all rental payments and reservation/security deposit if another renter, with similar terms can not be found. The determination of 'similar replacement' will be the owners' alone.
Deposits:
$250 damage deposit to hold reservation dates which automatically converts to refundable security deposit.   Monthly bookings require 25% of the rental rate in addition to a $250 damage deposit due at time of booking. There is a $500 damage deposit required during peak rates.
Other Fees:
Departure Cleaning fee is $100. Jacuzzi Service Fee is $75. Pet Fee is $150.
Other Policies:
50% rental rate due 60 days prior to arrival and balance due 30 days prior. Maximum of 8 occupants. Pet must be no larger than 55lbs (for larger pets, Owner may consider and adjust pet fee - please inquire). Please Note - NO LARGE PARTIES ALLOWED!!!
